Kicking Off with a Countywide Food Drive
and Children’s Clothing Drive
WHY WE ARE TAKING ACTION
While Chris Coons admits that Democrats are using the government shutdown as “a moment of leverage,” the Sussex County Republican Party is stepping in to serve. Even Delaware’s Democratic governor, Matt Meyer, was forced to use state resources to extend SNAP benefits through November — a sign of how badly Washington is failing our families.
While Democrats in Washington refuse to vote for a clean funding resolution and instead hold up aid for millions of Americans, Sussex County Republicans are choosing action over excuses.
Americans can no longer trust Democrats to protect essential benefits when they’re playing political games rather than delivering results. If a party cannot lead at the federal level, how can it be trusted locally?
Through the "Sussex GOP In Your Community" Initiative, we are demonstrating that leadership means service, not leverage.
OUR SUSSEX GOP MESSAGE
As Democrats in Washington refuse to vote on the very bills that would restore funding and relief, and as our own federal delegation chooses politics over progress, Delawareans are being left behind.
At the same time, local Sussex County Democrats have shown little accountability, no transparency, and even less concern for the people they claim to represent.
That’s why it’s up to the Sussex County Republican Party to show what real leadership looks like — leadership rooted in service, responsibility, and action.
When Democrats fall short, Sussex County Republicans lead.
When Washington fails, Sussex County leads.

PART THREE: 38TH DISTRICT SOUTHERN DELAWARE REPUBLICANS - LOCAL FOOD DRIVE MONDAY EVENING, NOV. 3RD |
A message from the 38th District Southern Delaware Republican Club:
:
While Sussex County Democrats point fingers and blame Republicans for the shutdown, the 38th District Southern Delaware Republican Club is getting to work. We don’t wait while children go hungry or families struggle.
We are collecting food and essential items for local charities in our community. As Senate Democrats block legislation and delay assistance, we stand ready to serve. Shame on Senator Chris Coons, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, and the Sussex County Democrats who defend politics over people.
