live in 4 local DISTRICTS!
Sussex County has:
-
4 Senate Districts

-
5 County Council Districts

You can only vote for local candidates running in your district.
On election day, you don’t want to be in the voting booth only to realize the local candidate you want to vote for isn’t listed because the candidate is not in your district.
Why it's important to know your districts - - -
Where you vote is determined by your Election District within your House of Representatives District.
Each Representative District (RD) is divided into many Election Districts (EDs). Each Election District is assigned one or more polling places.
