Gene Truono Elected Delaware GOP State Chair: A New Chapter of Unity

Dear Sussex County Republicans,

I am proud to share that Gene Truono has been elected as the new Delaware State Chair of the Republican Party. For me, this is more than just an announcement; it is personal.

I first met Gene in 2024 at the Republican National Convention where we both served as delegates. Even before that, I had the chance to work alongside him when I served on the State Executive Committee as the State Chair of the Delaware Young Republicans. I remember watching him step into his role and immediately take charge, crafting a bulletproof budget that set a strong foundation for the party. From that moment, I knew Gene was a leader who could deliver results.

Gene brings with him a wealth of professional experience that will serve our party well. He has held leadership roles across the private and public sectors, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of American Digital Realty, Chief Compliance Officer at Oxygen, and BSA Compliance Risk Officer at Arkham. His background also includes expertise in real estate sales, digital asset management, and legal counsel, built on a foundation as an attorney admitted to the Delaware Bar since 1987. Gene’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to integrity, strategic thinking, and results-driven leadership. 

What started as professional respect quickly grew into a friendship that I truly value. Gene’s dedication to our shared conservative principles, his steady leadership, and his ability to bring people together make him exactly the kind of leader our state party needs right now.

As we look ahead, I am filled with hope for the future of the Delaware GOP. With Gene Truono at the helm, we have an opportunity to unify our party, grow our grassroots movement, and position Republicans for success at every level. Sussex County will be a key part of that effort, and I am excited to work hand in hand with Gene to ensure we are building a strong, united front.
