Delaware Democrats, led by Senator Chris Coons and Attorney General Kathy Jennings, continue to oppose common-sense election safeguards, dismissing legitimate concerns about election integrity as a “temper tantrum.” Their resistance leaves Delaware voters without full confidence in our elections.
Democrats Block Safeguards: Coons and Jennings have spent years fighting in court against measures to secure elections, prioritizing access over integrity and rejecting basic protections like proof of citizenship and photo ID.
Against Voter Confidence: By attacking President Trump’s push for secure elections, Delaware Democrats thwart reforms that would ensure only eligible citizens vote and restore trust for all Delawareans.
SAVE America Act Details:
Requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote.
Mandates photo identification to cast a ballot.
Cracks down on non-citizen voting and strengthens protections against mail-in ballot fraud.
Aims to restore confidence by making elections secure, transparent, and fair.
Overwhelming Bipartisan Support: The SAVE America Act enjoys strong backing from the overwhelming majority of voters across the aisle, including Republicans, Independents, and many Democrats, who demand these commonsense protections.
“Delaware Democrats don’t want fair elections, they want elections they can control,” said Gene Truono, Chairman of the Delaware Republican Party.
“We stand with President Trump and the vast majority of Americans who support the SAVE America Act to protect every legal vote.”
The Delaware Republican Party will continue fighting for election integrity so Delaware voters can have full confidence in every election. Donate today to help us fight for secure elections and election integrity in Delaware.
