Raised in Roxana, Delaware, my roots in Sussex County span at least five generations. After attending Lord Baltimore and Phillip C. Showell for elementary school, I progressed to Selbyville Middle School and graduated from Indian River High School in 2007. Pursuing my lifelong ambition of becoming a game warden, I earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental health science with a minor in Biology from Salisbury University in 2011. During my time there, I interned with Delaware Natural Resources Police, Fish and Wildlife. Following graduation, I fulfilled my dream of becoming a full-time game warden, graduating from the Delaware State Police Academy in 2013 and rising through the ranks to Captain over the next decade.

In 2011, I was blessed to meet my wife, Melinda, whom I married in 2014. Our family has since grown to include two wonderful children who are our greatest joy. Melinda is a dedicated grade schoolteacher, deeply familiar with the various challenges our schools, students, and educators face. Together, we are committed to improving curriculum standards, enhancing teacher recruitment and retention efforts, and ensuring the safety and well-being of both students and teachers within our schools.

Proudly endorsed by the Indian River Education Association (IREA), I believe in recognizing the dedication of our teachers amidst challenging circumstances. I'm eager for the opportunity to serve as the next school board candidate for District 4.
