BASIC INFORMATION FOR SCHOOL BOARD VOTING

NOTE:  THIS INFORMATION WILL BE UPDATED FOR THE 2027 ELECTIONS

Only TWO seats have an election on May 12th

  • In Delmar there are 2 At Large seats with 3 Republican Candidates

  • In Milford there is 1 District C seat with 1 Republican Candidate and 1 Non-Republican Candidate

All other open seats had only 1 candidate file for the election.  Therefore, there is no election for those seats. The candidate automatically is the next School Board member at the beginning of the term. The illustration below is taken directly from the Department of Elections (DOE) website:

Basic voting information:

  • Voting for School Board is only ON May 12, 2026

  • There is NO early voting

  • You DO NOT have to be registered to vote to vote in a school board election
