The primary election from September 2nd-15th determines the candidate who will represent each major party. The candidates who win the primary election will face each other in the general election in November.
For some districts in Delaware, the primary election will determine the ultimate winner, because the opposite party has no one running for that position.
Every seat counts. In 2026, monumental bills passed or failed because of one vote.
