Today we’re celebrating the hardworking farmers and ranchers who feed, fuel, and clothe the world. Agriculture is Delaware’s number one industry, driving our economy and supporting thousands of jobs. Our farms generate more revenue per acre than those in most other states, and 96% are family owned—many passed down through generations. It’s the perfect day to recognize the incredible work that goes into agriculture and the vital role it plays in all our lives.
