WILMINGTON, Del. — Freedom is not guaranteed simply because we value it. It survives when Americans exercise it, defend it, and refuse to allow political disagreement to become a reason for silencing one another.

The Delaware Republican Party stands for the fundamental freedoms that allow every citizen to participate in our democracy: freedom of speech, freedom of political expression, freedom to organize, freedom to question government, and freedom to stand publicly for what you believe.

When an organization suppresses free speech, the Delaware Republican Party fights to defend our First Amendment rights. Last week, on September 17, 2026, an organization in Delaware ejected a congressional candidate for asserting rights under the First Amendment.

Those principles are at the heart of our work across Delaware.

We are fighting for girls and women in sports.

We are fighting for parents who deserve a voice in their children's education.

We are working for better schools and greater opportunity for Delaware students.

We are standing with families struggling with affordability and the rising cost of everyday life.

We are supporting jobs, entrepreneurs, and small businesses that create opportunity in our communities.

And we are defending the right of Delawareans to speak, participate, and engage in the political process without being intimidated into silence.

This work requires organization, outreach, communication, volunteers, voter engagement, and the resources necessary to take these ideas directly to Delawareans.

The stakes extend beyond any single candidate or election. They concern the kind of Delaware we leave to the next generation — and whether citizens remain willing and able to stand publicly for their principles.

Freedom needs a voice. Families need a voice. Parents need a voice. Delaware needs a voice.

The Delaware Republican Party will continue building the organization necessary to carry that voice throughout our state.
