Socialism is Surging – Delaware's Next if We Don't Act NOW!

The Delaware Republican Party is issuing an urgent wake-up call to every conservative in the First State. Recent national polls show socialism steadily gaining support among American voters—especially younger generations and Democrats. This dangerous trend threatens the very principles that built America: individual liberty, free enterprise, personal responsibility, and limited government.

Socialism is not progress. It is the direct opposite of Delaware values and American exceptionalism. History proves it leads to economic stagnation, government overreach, and the loss of personal freedom. We cannot allow socialist ideas—or socialist candidates—to take root in our state. Delaware’s future depends on us acting decisively right now.

Alarming Poll Trends Showing Socialism’s Rise

A Fox News poll (released this week) finds 38% of Americans now say moving away from capitalism toward socialism would be a “good thing”—up sharply from 32% in 2022 and only 18% in 2010.
Gallup (September 2025): 39% of all Americans view socialism positively; among Democrats, that number jumps to 66%.
Cato Institute (May 2025): Among 18–29-year-olds, 62% hold a favorable view of socialism.
YouGov/Economist (December 2025): 28% of Americans under 30 say they prefer socialism over capitalism.
Harvard Youth Poll (Fall 2025): While overall youth support for socialism has slightly declined, 29% of young Americans still express support for democratic socialism.

These numbers are not abstract statistics—they represent a real and growing threat. Self-described socialists have already won major races in cities across the country. Delaware must draw a hard line: we will not follow that path
