The attacks on our dedicated ICE agents have escalated to dangerous new levels—and they're hitting right here in our small, tight-knit state. Brave federal officers, sworn to protect American families from violent criminals, are now smeared as a "personal paramilitary force" breaking laws and endangering communities. This inflammatory rhetoric doesn't just divide us; it puts real lives at risk, emboldens lawbreakers, and invites chaos into our neighborhoods.
Rep. Sarah McBride has doubled down, declaring ICE has become "this President's personal paramilitary force—they are breaking the law, endangering communities, and violating basic freedoms." She's even co-sponsored impeachment articles against DHS leadership over enforcement actions. Governor Matt Meyer echoes this extremism, openly stating he may prosecute ICE agents for enforcing federal immigration laws in Delaware—while our state has seen waves of anti-ICE protests in Dover, Newark, Wilmington, Claymont, Rehoboth Beach, and Talleyville in recent weeks.
Delawareans don't want paid agitators flooding our communities, disrupting our peace, and turning peaceful towns into battlegrounds over federal law enforcement. We value safe streets, strong families, and respect for those who serve—not orchestrated outrage designed to undermine the rule of law.
The facts tell a different story from the radical left's narrative:
• ICE prioritizes serious threats: In FY2024, over 81,312 arrests (71.7% of total) targeted noncitizens with criminal convictions or pending charges—including thousands of homicides, robberies, assaults, and more. ICE FY2024 Annual Report
• This focus protects our communities: Enforcement removes dangerous individuals who prey on innocent Americans—yet radicals like McBride and Meyer paint every action as abuse
• The hypocrisy runs deep: Democrats stayed silent during Obama's record 3+ million deportations. No cries of "paramilitary," no threats to prosecute agents—only now, under Republican leadership, do they weaponize the issue for political gain
As Delaware Republicans, we stand firmly with our law enforcement officers. We reject efforts to turn our state into a haven for criminals or a stage for out-of-state agitators. Our small size is our superpower—we can mobilize quickly, build powerful grassroots coalitions, and defy every projection that Democrats will dominate the 2026 midterms.
THIS IS A FUNDRAISING RED ALERT
The time to act is NOW. The 2026 elections will decide whether Delaware remains under one-party Democratic rule or reclaims its conservative values: secure borders, safe communities, and unwavering support for law enforcement.
Your Urgent Action Will Make the Difference—Here's Why You Must Step Up Today:
• Shield Our Communities from Chaos: Fund campaigns that expose how radical policies invite crime and paid agitators—keeping Delaware families safe and free from disruption
• Hold Radicals Accountable: Amplify the truth about ICE's criminal-focused mission and the left's double standards to energize voters and flip seats
• Defend Law Enforcement Heroes: Support candidates who will block threats to prosecute federal agents and reject sanctuary-style policies that endanger us all
• Build the Conservative Wave for 2026: Your dollars fuel voter outreach, ads, events, and door-knocking in every county—turning frustration into votes that defy the odds and end one-party rule
This isn't just about politics—it's about protecting the Delaware we love from radical overreach and outside agitators who don't share our values.
