Why now?

Laurel hasn’t passed a current expense referendum in 40 years—that’s two full generations. During that time, costs, expectations, and student needs have grown, but local operating funding hasn’t kept pace.

Vote February 9th — for the first time in 40 years.

The Laurel School District invites community members to join them for a Referendum Information Night focused on sharing clear, factual information about the upcoming referendum.

District leaders will provide an overview of the referendum, including key details and impacts, with opportunities for questions.

Be informed before you vote, join one or both of sessions:

Thursday, January 22 - 5:30 PM - Laurel Middle High School, Jason Rogers Auditorium

Wednesday, January 28 - 4:30 PM - North Laurel Early Learning Academy
