How We Can Solve All Of Our Problems!

Today, we can all agree that our towns, our counties, our state, and our nation are faced with a myriad of problems that we all wish to solve.

Whether it is homelessness, the economy, jobs, the cost of goods and services constantly rising, our schools getting worse instead of better, energy prices, overdevelopment, crime, corruption, etc., etc., etc.!

We expect our governments at every level to solve them all! We ask them, beg them, sometimes harass them to fix these things, and when they don't, we blame them and throw them out at the next election in hopes that the new person we elect will actually fix everything! Quite frankly, they are not able to for a number of reasons.

The main reason is us! Yes, you, me, and the rest of our population!

We have an attitude somehow that the only solution to our problems is found in government.

We allow them to create another program, another study, another department, another office or another law or ordanance with the promise that this will fix the some problem. At the end of the day, the government continues to grow, our tax burden continues to grow, our frustraation continues to grow because with all of that, the problem continues to grow!

We have allowed our governments at all levels to assume powers and authorities they don't have and more importantly shouldn't have, in an effort to fix problems that only seem to get worse.

So, you might ask, how can we fix it? It's really quite simple. Don't get me wrong it's not easy and it's going to take work. It's going to require YOU and I to actually do something we tend not to want to take the time do. We will want to find a reason, which will actually just be an excuse, not to do exactly what we need to do because we are really good at that! We are great at expecting someone else to do it for us, but we can't.

WE have to do it ourselves!

We have to make it a priority, because we always find the time to do what we make a priority.

We have made our lives so busy that we have forgotten one very important thing, what the job of government is. We need to take the time to relearn that we ARE the government's creator, that WE rule over the government, that THEY work for US, not the other way around. We need to learn what authourity they have been given by us and more importantly, what authority they have, with the best intentions, stolen from us and each other. Remember that governments authority comes from "the consent of the governed"! That is from "we the people". That consent does not come from the ballot box, contrary to what many think. In fact it comes from our city or town and county charters and our state and federal constitutions!

The real problem is, not only have we not read, studied or understood them, we have not even required those who swear an Oath to uphold and defend them to read, study and understand them!

That has to change NOW! That is precisely why I do what I do! That is preciely why I teach The US Constitution, The Delaware State Constitution, The Declaration of Independence and the True History of America's Founding.
