Vacancies. Canceled meetings. Empty promises of “significant movement” that never came.

Now, another Board meeting has been put on the calendar for later this August. But after the regularly scheduled August meeting was canceled because of vacancies, Delaware voters deserve to know: what assurance do we have that this next meeting will actually happen?

Governor Meyer & Delaware Democrats: You signed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and said democracy doesn’t disappear overnight — it disappears when good people wait for someone else to protect it.

We’re still waiting.

Putting another meeting on the calendar doesn’t solve the problem. Filling the vacancies does.

Fill the vacancies. Get the Board back to work. Give Delaware voters confidence that when their Board of Elections schedules a meeting, it can actually meet.
