Delaware Republican Party to Host Republican Leadership Day at Legislative Hall

DOVER, DE – The Delaware Republican Party will host its inaugural Republican Leadership Day at Legislative Hall on Thursday, June 25, bringing together Republican candidates, campaign representatives, party leaders, and elected officials from across the First State.

The event is designed to provide Republican candidates with an opportunity to engage directly with members of the Delaware General Assembly, strengthen relationships with party leadership, and gain a firsthand look at the legislative process while demonstrating the growing momentum of Republican candidates heading into the 2026 election cycle.

Activities will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Legislative Hall, followed by a 12:00 p.m. press conference outside the building. Republican candidates from across Delaware will join party leadership to discuss the importance of the upcoming election, the issues facing Delaware families, and the Delaware Republican Party's vision for the future of the state.

Following the press conference, candidates will be welcomed into Legislative Hall for introductions to members of the House and Senate Republican Caucuses and provided an opportunity to observe the General Assembly in session.

"This event is about bringing together Republican leaders from every corner of Delaware and ensuring our candidates have the opportunity to connect with one another, engage with elected officials, and learn more about the legislative process," said Daniel Willis, Vice Chair of the Delaware Republican Party. "As we continue building toward 2026, it is important that our candidates know they have a state party committed to supporting them and helping them succeed."

The Delaware Republican Party emphasized that Republican Leadership Day is intended to strengthen collaboration between candidates, elected officials, county organizations, and party leadership while showcasing the depth and quality of Republican candidates seeking to serve Delaware communities.
